Well, my 9 year old son has this problem of not wanting to clean his buttocks after going to the toilet, and ends up pestering his siblings to help him clean them. What should I do? He is definitely old enough to be potty trained and it isnt exactly nice to make his brothers and sisters clean his buttocks.

You might try providing some negative incentive for him to clean himself up. If he is unwilling or unable to do so himself, perhaps he should be wearing diapers and not going potty. Having his brothers and sisters do it is completely wrong, although if you want to create a more proper incentive for why it is wrong, (although this probably would border on abuse, so it might not be such a good idea after all, but I'm just throwing ideas out at the moment with hopes they might be helpful) allow his brothers and sisters to do more than just clean him up. Maybe if they actually mildly physically hurt him (spanking, grabbing his privates, etc), he'll have enough incentive to not ask for their assistance again. Right now, he has no incentive to change because his sibs are literally doing hte dirty work for him. :-(

I wish you the best of luck and I hope you figure something out that works for you.

This reminds me of a boy we once had in foster care my first wife and I were so at wits end, we had an 11 year old who didn't clean himself up well and ended up with stained undies, we took him to a child psycologist and showed him how to properly wipe his hind end, we would make him do it after showing him several times and if he did a good job and had no stains for a week we would allow him to choose his prize, be it small we kept it up until he did it himself without reward. His mother always had wiped his hind end and treated him like a baby so as he got to age 11 he really didn't know it was not the wiping but how to wipe.

He supposed to be do that, he is old enough. What is he doing in school? Let the another people clean his dirt...
Tell him again and again, he must do that. If he is going to the restroom and after that not cleaning, call him and let him clean right a way. That's the simple things in our life, everybody do that.

At first help him clean up, and then get him to do a little bit at a time, and tell him how good he is. The best way to get a child to do something is by telling them how good they are.

Tell his brothers/sisters they will get in big trouble if they help him let him wear it or sit on the toilet til he gets so bored he will do it himself

he will learn.
you can't have someone else do everything for you!

Just keep after him about it and don't worry he will come around. It's not uncommon, especially with boys.
