not that I am aware or.
You may petition the court to do so, or to seal your juvenile criminal file.

Great Question. Ok police dept. do not hire felony convictions, or perjury / Contempt of Court. Some felonies how ever are lowered to misdamenors but that would require expensive legal advice. It is highly unlikley the District Attorney will reduce the charge. However some juvenile charges do not show so the only thing to do is talk to a lawyer. I was charged with 3 misdamenors in my lifetime and i'm joining the police dept. some day.

Once convicted of a felony, no, they can't go back and change the court's findings. (Unless you appeal.) What CAN happen is a court with jurisdiction may seal your juvenile record. For that, you would need to get an attorney and make the correct request.
That way, it would not show up on a standard criminal history.
I will warn you though, police background checks are very in-depth. You still may have to explain it. And what ever you do, DONT lie.
Good luck!

Hire an attorney. It will be the best money you ever spent considering what you are going to get out of it.
You can have this expunged from your record completely. It will so be worth paying to have this done.
I know someone who was successful in having a felony removed from their record--and they were 18 when it occurred. It is possible.

If you was not tried as a adult those records are suspost to be closed. It is suspost to be against the law for anyone to see them but I would call the police accadmey and ask them they have their own set of rules that only they go by. Their our laws aren't the same as the laws the police has to go by. So call and ask them.If you can be a real good officer not a dirty one make people proud of officers again, because now days people are scard to trust them. Good luck!

As it is a Juvenile charge, and there were no subsequent arrests you could probably get the record expunged. Consult an attourney.
