girl head to the bacara in pebble beach. I went there with my husband and it is soooo romantic. beautiful grounds, golf courses, the beach, spa, everything. they serve your breakfast every morning on your private terrace and have evening drinks and music under the stars and it is just like a dream to stay there.

1. I live in the Napa Valley and it is beautiful!. Right now the weather is "cold and yucky". May and June are very nice weather, although my son had rain on his wedding in May. In the fall, the colors of all the vines are awesome! If you enjoy scenery and wine tasting, this is a beautiful romantic place. SF and Sac and Lake Tahoe are all close. So there is lots to see and do.
2. Avila Beach (San Luis Obispo area--Central Ca coast). There is an awesome place in San Luis called Madonna Inn (look on web). Avila Beach has little cottages to rent where you can walk to the Beach and the sun is shinning there even when it is foggy other places. Pismo Beach is also beautiful, although sometimes foggy. Nothing like the beach for romance and relaxation and fun.
3. Or...how about a Cruise to the Bahamas? I am a travel assistant and I have some certificates that would give you a very discounted cruise to the Bahamas and a stay there for 5 -7 days. If you send me your email or phone, I will contact you. You won't believe the amazing deals. I would love to help.

You didn't say when you are getting married. Just "about to get married". Looking to hear from you

London. Ur safe there. Its a romantic place, so many sights and sounds, no terrorist activities. Its the best. If u want any beach side area, try Hawaii, Boracay, Palawan or Goa. All are good beach spots. I dont suggest Hawaii due to sharks and volcanoes.

Vegas is fun. Not necessarily romantic in the traditional way, but memorable. Go see the Grand Canyon and stay at a lodge.

If you want to stay in California, then the Napa Valley or Yosemite.
Abroad then I would suggest Poland....very pictuesque and quite cheap once you can afford the flight to get there.

Since you are already on the West Coast, try Hawaii. It would be romantic, sort of close and exotic.
