My sister is freaking out because her boyfriend is leaving for the marines and will leave her for a few months sometime next year. Should she break it off until he returns or what? I see them together and they seem so much in love. i know that this will be very hard on both of them, but she is worried on what their future will be...what should i tell her? she won't listen to me anymore.

i know how your sis feels my boyfriend left me a month ago for the navy. wether or not she should brake it off is her choice. if she knows that there love is strong enought or if its weak were any temtation might rune it. my choice i repeat my self my choice was to stay with my boyfriend. and ya its very hard i cryed a lot when he left and the hardest is the first 3 weeks when you dont get any contact from him. but as soon as you can write to them it reduces the pain. yes shes going to miss him alot but tell her " time heals pain and distance makes the heart stronger" also its a good experence for him. if she needs to ask questions she can email me

if she truly loves him... then you should tell her BOYFRIEND to write everyday so that way it feels like hes there.... and she knows he's still not (you know).
