Yes i would say you should see a psychologist. There is some reason that you are having this problem. For some reason you have stuffed it, and by stuffing it, it will not get resolved. Plus stuffing just leads to more problems in the end. So the sooner you go and see a psychologist about this problem, the better.

I feel it is not neccessary. Perhaps, you are too nervous. If you just calm down and don't think too much, the words will naturally come..

Try it, if it really doesn't work for you, then you can consider seeing a psychologist..

Well I would say that you are just shy. But if it is with your family i think that it would be wise to seek a psychologist.

You will find your voice (promise!!) once you overcome your self-esteem on the topic you wanted to say, stick to one at a time.

Take your time to explore how you can express your voice. Through art work or pictures or playing an musical instrument will get you going again or writing the words in your personal diary.

I have always had this problem and although I've had therapy for other things I haven't for this. I am going to because when I do say something it's the wrong thing.

Look up stuff on "Avoidant Personality Disorder." You may see yourself in some of that and find some helpful information. I completely understand what you are saying.
