Wonderful. I had my children, grandchildren, mom and dad for a total of 11. It was wonderful to have all my family with us for Christmas. Yes, my wonderful daughter in law and son cleaned up for me.

Had a great time, actually. I only see my family members 6 or 7 times a year.

I got a cozy woolly blanket from my sister, a book about San Francisco architecture (I live in San Francisco and love the history here), tickets to A.C.T., a pack of Neccos (it's tradition with us!), a Miles Davis CD, running socks, and a purple Neoprene swim cap for swimming in the Bay (it's 60 degrees out there--very chilly water). I also got a plate of homemade chocolates and cookies, which I gave to a homeless person because I don't eat sweets (along with the Neccos). (It's easier to accept this gift graciously than to make a fuss.)

Happy Kwanzaa! :)
