I agree with the other poster runnersworld.com is the website for the fantastic running magazine. I subscribed to it recently because I am a new runner (at 37 y.o., no less). It's got great articles for the beginner as well as for the expert marathoner.

I also go to coolrunning.com all the time. It's got great articles, good programs for beginners that tell you exactly how hard to run and how far, a running log, nutrition tips, and a fantastic message board system.
