there are girls who can bat their eyes and get a guy by looking pretty and showing off, but what about an average girl who isn't ugly, but is not straight foward about liking a guy. if a girl comes out and says "i like you" what would you (a guy's) reation be? whats the best way for a guy to find out a girl likes you?

babe i wont lie to u but guys r more attracted to looks then anything in the beginning so if u want anythin good with this dude the best way is u need to become his friend first
so that u can really show him the real u then u have a chance of him feelin for u coz he knows u as a person then

Quite a question. I think sometimes girls are NOT straight forward enough and it causes some strange feelings. He may want that attention and if you are to distant, the boat may sail. I think subtle things like saying how much you like thier personality or a physical trait can get the ball rolling nicely.
Taking small but firm steps is feeling out each others feelings is the best. And it spares you the horrible feeling of being rejected.

Straight-forward, like all things, is best used in moderation. Some girls go way overboard, then then first date features the following dialogue:
"And I went to class because I had this final but I know I'm going to drop out when everyone finds out I got railed by six guys at the Phi Kappa DooDoo party, but I couldn't sit still because I had cramps really bad-- yeah, period came three days early and I was trying on white pants at Aeropostale when I found out so I put them back on the rack-- and then I was going to cancel this date because there's no way you could possibly give me anything better than what I have in my nightstand drawer, but I thought, the heck with it, at least I'll get fed."

You can let a guy know you like them by your body language and subtle reactions.....its in the look you have in your eyes or the smile you might give them...not a flirting thing....
