everyone one is always saying... oh __ is way to young to be dating.... well, what is a good age?... im 16, i go out with guys here and there, but not to often--nothing serious... only if i actually feel something for them...

well how old where you when you started dating........ like, i dont wanna shelter myeself from getting hurt all my life.... it's happened before, and i wouldnt change a thing about it... i learned sooo much from that asshole

late teens for sure. younger kids date just for reputation and notthing more quite often. wait till you go to college to meet a guy who is worth while, one who has a future and a life besides partying. high school is fine, just date for the right reasons

I think 16 is a good age to start dating.

in college, you get more mature men there, goal oriented and
wiser. 16 is too young to date, cause of your maturity leve.
plus i have a 16 year old niece, and im protective of her as well.
when she gets out on her own and can emotionally mentally,
and financially handle the relationship stuff, then thats fine.

Whenever you feel ready. I started dating at 15 but it doesn't really matter what age.

I say it's better when you are in college. If you are still in highscool you are in fact not yet ready to emotionally handle all this. and I guess it's better to make friends first.
