Dear Shaolt,
Since you rule out the Bible which I have read from cover-to-cover about 10 times and consider each time to be the Best Book I have read, I'll have to go to Number 11 and the books that tie for that position. (In no particular order)
Knowing God by J.I. Packer
Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis
My Utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers
ALL of Charles Haddon Spurgeon's books
ALL of Ravi Zacharias' books
ALL of Lee Strobel's books
Edit: Thank you God's Girl for reminding me of Hannah Hurnard's books. I keep the sequel to Hinds Feet on High Places in my car to read when I have to sit and wait.

Thank you for asking such a great question! I have read many books that I have found remarkable...but right now, the series of books which are my favorites, are all the books written by Neale Donald Walsch. They encompass everything I believe in, and they make it all very easy to understand, even for those who have had no previous exposure to meta-physics.

Without doubt, it is Nahj al-Balagha (Peaks of Eloquence), the book that contains sermons and sayings of Imam Ali.
We have the following saying reported from the Holy Prophet: "I am the city of knowledge and Ali is its gate."
