I just answered a question or two about this. Seems some think if 2 people make a mistake, the baby shouldn't suffer for it. So, that being said. Two morons have a kid. They can't or won't properly take care of it. They fight, drink, do drugs, abuse the baby, whatever. And you say this is OK? The baby is suffering here, get it. Do you really think that's fair to the kid??????

Pro-choice. But, I can't understand why this must be such a HUGE issue. I mean, do pro-lifers think they will be held responsible for anyone else's actions? Why is it people feel the need to force their way of life on other people? If abortion stays legal, it does NOT in anyway affect a pro-lifer. If abortion becomes illegal (which would mean it would probably be illegal under any circumstances), then not only will women with health risks die. Then these women who are desperate for an abortion (no matter what their reason), will have illegal ones. Then, not only does the "baby" die, but there is a great chance, the woman will as well. So, it's not like this would be preventing anything. I say we work together toward a common goal. To reduce the # of abortions, rather than outlaw it. The first step is to be open and honest with your kids (no matter your religious views). Being Christian (or any religion) does not prevent pregnancy, and it surely doesn't prevent teen sex. I say stop focusing so much on abortion, because the answer doesn't lie there, it lies in prevention (no matter what your views on the topic are).

There is a bit of a surprise unintended consequence to the legalization of abortions in the US from the early 70's. About 14 -15 years later the crime rate started going down fairly dramatically!! And has continued since.
A fertiliized egg to embryo is hardly human. It is more like a parasite. It takes every thing it needs from the mother like it or not. Why should a woman be told what she must do with her body? Pregnancy is a dangerous situation for a woman, Before modern medical care, the death rate from a pregnancy was very high. Even with modern care, the body is wrecked from the ordeal.

...I am definitely pro-life. I wonder how many pro-choice people have no trouble at all identifying and believing that an unborn eagle is an eagle? How many of these same folks cannot see that an unborn baby is a human being?
...Abortion on demand is a national tragedy, and it is a dirty shame that we protect unborn eagles, but it's open season on human babies, up to 9 months. Even more barbaric is partial-birth abortion, a really gruesome procedure, where a baby nearly born is murdered by stabbing - how anyone can justify that or countenance that is incomprehensible to me.
...BTW, if that little forming baby is a human being, and I challenge anyone to prove it isn't, then if someone snuffs out its life, that is murder. And, yes, we have many laws that govern our behavior, and with consequences if we violate them - laws that prohibit murder, stealing, traffic violations and a multitude of other things - do you follow them or do you make your own laws according to your own desires?
...May God forgive us and change our hearts toward unborn human beings, and give us the guts to change our laws.

PRO CHOICE!! a child should be born into a loving family thats READY to make the commitment of taking care of a child! and adoption isn't always the best choice since not all children are going to get adopted into the american dream family. and many children will never get adopted and never have the family everyone wants.

Pro choice. Nobody has any right to tell somebody else what to do with their own body.
And I'm with ya on the moron thing. Despite what I said above, you should be thoroughly interviewed by CSD each time you get pregnant. They do it to adoption parents, but more often than not, it would be more appropriate to do it to biological parents.

i'm pro-mind-your-own-business....i think a woman ought to have control of her body...if she produces a child she has the responsibility to provide and take care of it...that being said if she cannot do that or isn't willing to we shouldn't demonize her for not being ready...we should embrace her and realize that she made the best choice for herself...the child is probably better off anyway....they won't have to be poor or depend on the govt...they won't be forced into sub-standard health care or crumbling public schools...the female will have a chance to finish school, get a good job and provide for her future family and attain her goals and dreams....religious quacks should butt out because they aren't going to help financially...they will condemn you to hell but not assist in the process of raising or providing for the child...thank God for birth control!!!

I also am pro-mind-your-own-business. Abortion is between a woman and her doctor, and is not suitable conversation, since those who think it is also think they have the right to overturn the government's decisions. When you get to be supreme court judge, THEN you can tell people what to do with their bodies.

I am pro-choice. The decision to terminate a pregnancy is a personal decision and it is only the business of the woman involved.
The US Supreme Court said that abortion is NOT MURDER.
