Being IN love to me means to love a person so much that there is basically nothing else you want to do but be with that person forever. I love my friends in the sense that I wouldn't want anything to ever happen to them and I'd bend over backwards to help them out but if our friendships end....I'd be fine with that too. I'm IN love with my husband....although I feel the same about him as a friend.....I can't imagine living without him but I love him enough to let him go and be happy if it came down to it.

You can love your best guy friend, but be in love with another guy. Being IN love with someone means you would consider them as your "life partner." Just loving someone can mean you just deeply care for them.

When you love someone you care about them deeply but there is not a physical attraction or a romantic relationship necessarily. You love your mom or dad, but not in a romantic way.
If you are IN love with somemone, you love them with all your heart, soul and mind and in a romantic way and you want to spend the rest of your life with them,.

Well when you are in love you love them even with all their flaws and no matter what happens. Which is pretty much your wedding vows.
Loving someone is when you just like the way they are or what they have in other words.

well everybody has a different perception of what it means.
for me loving somebody is caring about them, respecting them, trusting them, wanting the best for them, but being in love with someone is almost an uncontrollable feeling. you can't get them out of your head. you are romantically attracted to them. you can't see yourself without them. they are your everything and they can make your day or break your heart.

loving your friends, u overlook there flaws, and accept them as they are. no physical or sexual attraction.
when you fall in love, its like your world is consumed by thoughts of this person, if they are ok, if they are happy, that you want to be the one to make them happy and to satisfy there every desire, whim, notion. its hard to best describe but its the most moving experience to fall for someone else.
