I just took 2tsp of Robitussin and yet still have a full can of saod sitting here...I don't want to waste it...If I drink the soda will it have any affects along with the cough medicine?

Nothing to worry about at all...it's the chemical makeup that helps your cough, not the stickiness in your throat.

Are you thinking of mixing cold medicine with alcohol? That would cause problems with severe drowsiness, but I've never heard of anything regarding cough syrup and caffeine. Enjoy...the coolness might help your throat if it's sore. ;)

Obviously you have taken Robitussin for your cough/cold/congestion.

Will not advise any cold drinks like soda - with or without caffeine.

If it were a cup of hot coffee, that's OK for ME - but for you, please consult your Doctor.
