Explain to him that you like going out with him, but you are much too young to be engaged. Both of you are too young to even consider marriage and looks like you have to tell him. Tell him that both of you need your education before any commitment. Be honest with him. You're a smart girl.

You are obviously not ready for marriage. Let him know that, and let him know that you don't feel that strongly for him. It is MUCH better to be honest than to drag him along in ignorance.
