No it can't do that. Knowledge, understanding, compassion, and acceptance can heal our world if we choose to try.

Nope. History shows that it makes things worse. Faith, as in religious faith, tends to be more of a divider of people than it is a healer/peacemaker.

Take the Northern Ireland "troubles", as an example. It's virtually impossible to know the enemy without knowing their religion. Strong religious affiliation and identification fuels the conflict.

The conflict stems back to the days of English colonization, of course, but much of these old reasons for conflict have faded from memory. Now its just catholics vs protestants - which, in itself is an altogether absurd distinction. To an atheist, hindu, buddhist, or muslim, these two faiths are so similar, one would think that they could live in peace as a direct result of the substantial commonalities. And yet they still find reason to hate each other... as defined by religion.

Only inner peace in every individual would heal the world since they are hurting from the inside.. and only God can grant you inner peace, but you need to ask him for inner peace.. if you don't ask you don't receive.

Faith in all things could heal the world if people are willing to obtain it, it's all freedom of will as God gave us.

Following a religion to the word may not provide some with peace if it never touches their soul or heart, it doesn't take a specific religion for peace - the person needs to be open to God and life and be open to receiving inner peace, then the world would start to heal.

In todays world, faith is the only thing that can hold people together. War, famine, natural disasters have all dampen peoples mind causing hatred, jeolousy, etc. Faith is the only thing that can control these people and stop them from committing sins.

However, on the other hand, people misuse faith and manipulate others to committ acts and support them by using the word "faith".

The world is divided by lots of things -- religious faith has very little to do with world division, in fact, because the vast majority of the world's religious people want to co-exist in peace.

Sometimes I get really tired of people who make a scapegoat of religion -- they do this because they need to discredit religion, especially Christianity, since religion often teaches things that they don't want to hear.

What do you mean divided by faith? I believe if all have the same faith then what a world it could be. And if divided by faith with many God then what it could be?
And if we have faith and believe in one God then a prosperous world it could be and peaceful loving people it could be.

24If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. 26And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand; his end has come. 27In fact, no one can enter a strong man's house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man. Then he can rob his house. 28I tell you the truth, all the sins and blasphemies of men will be forgiven them. 29But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin."

Faith will heal someday this world...but not faith of God or Any particular sect...it should be faith in humanity

FAT CHANCE....:(

WHOSE FAITH?

can u define "Faith" differently than Paul is defined it in Corinthians"?

Even the "faith" that people's eyes will be washed out of the marmelade that the religions smear upon, will not save the world.

faith is the doom of the divided world.
