My boyfriend has some weird eating habits. He won't eat veggies. His meat must be cut up small. The list of foods he eats is about 10 to 20 different things. Thats it. It is impossible to cook for him as well as teach me young children good eating habits when he basically lives off of Pringles chips and junk food. He eats almost everything with a spoon and in a large bowl. Is that really weird or what? Is it common to eat mac & cheese with a spoon?

Re: the mac and cheese: if it's a side dish with dinner, I eat it with the same fork I'm eating everything else with. But if I'm making a meal out of a box of the stuff, eating it from a big bowl (not that I do that), then it's a spoon.

Sounds like it's time for BF to learn to cook for himself, or learn to eat what you're preparing for everyone else.

I prefer a fork myself, but I used to hate to use a fork for anything that I could use a spoon for. I had really poor coordination skills as a child, and it was simply much easier for me to use a spoon than a fork most of the time if the food I was eating could be eaten that way. I see nothing wrong with it if it suits him.

As for being a picky eater, so long as he is getting himself enough proper nutrition, I see nothing wrong with that either.

Big bowl and a big spoon for mostly everything. Massive quantities, and the spoon allows immediate disposal down the old hatch without any fooling around. I'm actually finishing off half a cheesecake I made earlier with a big spoon as I type this.

Mmmmm, fatty

I eat mac and cheese with a spoon. I have eaten it with a fork before and even chop sticks, but I prefer the spoon.

Well the junk food habit is weird.
Eating mac n cheese with a spoon is not weird and I don't understand why you think it is.
