The Rapture things are going to get really bad down here. And read it in a different version of the Bible such as the New King James. The Message, Contemporary English.

This is talking about the first resurrection of the 144,000 who will rule in heaven with Christ and the scriptures in 1 Corinthians are talking about how some of those will still be alive after the tribulation and they will be instantly transferred to heaven.
