It is based on the following things
1) If the institute where you are studing is already providing coaching for iitjee, then the course content may cover most of the material. Try to cover what they teach you and go through the books recommeded by your institute which is coaching you for iitjee.
2) In case your institute is coaching for only intermediate. Then you need to list out material needed for the prepartation
3) It is not the number of hours that matters but it is the quality of preparation, your grasping ability that matters
4) Try to cover the course material and books that are needed for preparing to iitjee first.

you should start preparations right from class 11th... thereafter you will have to study approx 8 hours a day... looks too much? however, there is no other way...

please work on your english,, before you take the IIT-JEE , it might help you in taking the exam! This is not to deride you, i really feel improving your english might help you in the test, and also later in life.
