There is this guy I like and I sent him a text message at 1:30 pm, and I get a message from him at 5:30pm and it was said it was sent to me at 9:30 am that earlier today. Do you think this was an error or the message he sent me was really sent at 9:30am and not 5:30pm and it just took that long to get to my phone. Does this happend with sending text sometimes?

This has happened to me many times before. The text WAS sent at 9:30am, but cell phones will remind you that you have a text message waiting for you after a period of time. This is most likely what happened. There is no error in your cell phone or his.

text messages sometimes do that a while to reach your phone, especially when the person happens to send them when u have a low signal. So yes he did send it at 9:30 am.
