Do you believe that you are a new and improved monkey?

No. Two reasons:

1. I don't believe (that would require me to continue believing even in the face of mountains of evidence to the contrary, if any existed).

2. That being said, I do have enormous confidence that humans and monkeys evolved from a common ancestor. We are not evolved FROM monkeys, we share the same ancestor.

Cheers.

We did not evolved from monkeys. We were a next to chimps also a monkey family.Humans were able to change through time as our breed were the most intelligent of the monkey family.

Psalm 139;14-24....those who believe they evolved from monkeys are really the true uncles and aunties of that invented missing link monkey. In Genesis 1, the word kind means species. Darwin did not come up with the real classification of species.

There is a $250,00 Reward for anyone who can prove this theory of Darwins no questions asked. Go to http://www.raycomfort.com and click the link for Dr Hovind....Go forth and prosper in the New Year!

... monkeys and humans evolved from a common ancestor. That ancestor is not a monkey per se... if looked at today it'd be called a monkey by the naked eye but isn't one exactly. It just BECAME (i.e., evolved into) monkeys, humans, apes, etc.

In short... no.

I defiantly evolved from a monkey. I still have the traits. I love bannas and Climbing trees.

" My monkey made me do it."

Oishi: Perhaps a more better rendition of this posting would be: "Do you believe monkeys evolved from we [Humans] ( a.k.a. reverse evolution) ? " . Either way, you slice the "pie", the first law of bio genesis is: Life must come from life. Creation [Life] in any way, shape or form ... demands a Creator [Life] ; translates into Life ! So; crack out the coconuts !!!

No, we evolved from some other apelike, pre-human simian. A monkey is a monkey.

I don't. We evolved from higher apes, not monkeys.

No. We share a common ancestor with the great apes (tail-less apes), which itself shared a prior common ancestor with the monkeys.

We are two common ancestoral lines removed from monkeys, and one from the great apes.
