Please help me to understand???????
my ex has been calling me nearly everyday at work coz he doesnt know my mobile number anymore. he broke up with me and he is calling me all the time 'just to say hi' but lately he has been asking me if i have a boyfriend and asking were i have been and things like that and getting jealous. do you think he is wanting to give us a second chance? (i want to get back together with him)..... i dont understand why he is calling me all the time? why??

If the butthead broke up with you, he has no right to be jealous, wondering where you have been and if you have a boyfriend.
Usually guys look up their ex's they have dumped after they themselves have been dumped...I would try to find out if he was dumped recently. If so, then he is likely just trying to get you back to build up his ego and if he does, then poof! he will be gone again. Sadly, most of the time, this is the reason a guy will pursue a girl he has dumped.
There are those few rare cases where the fella realizes that there isn't anything better out there and truly does realize what he had and wants it back, but, like I said, that is rare.
As you say you really want to get back with him, and he is showing obvious interest for whatever his reasons are, this could be an opportunity, but I would set boundries up front as to what you will expect and tolerate from this guy (such as not accepting a date a the last minute; it could be he is only asking because his other plans fell through and he only wants to keep you as a back-up).

He sounds like bad news to me. A bit of a control freak. Its one thing to call once in a while like normal people but ALL THE TIME? and jealous? OJ Simpson - the stalker - comes to mind. I would tell him youre not interested in ANYONE right now and to leave you alone. If he doesnt, I would the cops.

He's the one that broke up with you, don't give him the time of day. He sounds kind of stalkerish, don't let him have the control in your guys' relationship.

He is probably wanting to back and thinking he made a mistake. so he wants to make sure there is no one else.
