The end of the world is coming, but only God Himself knows when that will happen. The bible says the world will end, but not billions of years from now, as that evolutionist J.P. believes. The world wasn't even here for billions of years and scientists can't prove that. They merely assume it's been here that long, but with no evidence or proof - merely their speculation. The world has only been here for a few thousand years. Just follow the events in the bible and add up all the ages and years mentioned. It'll give you a rough idea, but not exact. Anyway, the book of Revelation speaks of the end of the world and, as the bible also mentions, He will come as a thief in the night. No one will know when it will happen because it'll be quick. I believe it 'cause God said it and that settles it!

Because the signs given in the Bible by Jesus and all the prophets and apostles are being rapidly fulfilled. Especially those which are written in the book of Revelation chapters 13 and 14 are happening now. Very soon the super power and the super church will join in enforcing the keeping of Sunday Law, prohibiting work on Sunday, the day of the Sun instead of the seventh-day Sabbath. This will lead to persecution of the true Christians who are faithfull to His commandments, followed by the outpouring of the 7 plagues and finally the Coming of Jesua and the end of the world.

End of the world...? Certainly there will be an end to the life of this planet and the planet will erode but long before either of these events occur, there will very likely be an end to mankind. It is very unlikely, impossible in fact, that the universe will ever see an end since it has the flexibility to reshape itself without losing it's contents - its form has not yet been statically defined by man's understanding, and thus, it will always be, by simple definition, just the universe ....for what it would matter without mankind around to appreciate his own knowledge and understanding.

Phew, I'm so happy to have escaped the stupidity of blind faith reasoning.

10At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

15"So when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination that causes desolation,'[a] spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand— 16then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17Let no one on the roof of his house go down to take anything out of the house.

Done come and gone--two hours, 11 minutes past sunset, May 23rd, 1844.

(He said He'd come "as a thief in the night"--and He did.) He said we should be waiting and watching. A thief doesn't get announced in the media--he sneaks in and out, before you're aware--and takes your heart.

In Matthew, chapter 24, verse 3, Christ clearly says that what Daniel meant by this prophecy was the date of the manifestation, and this is the verse: "As He sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of Thy coming, and of the end of the world?" One of the explanations He gave them in reply was this (v. 15): "When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand)." In this answer He referred them to the eighth chapter of the Book of Daniel, saying that everyone who reads it will understand that it is this time that is spoken of. Consider how clearly the manifestation of the Báb is spoken  43  of in the Old Testament and in the Gospel.

To conclude, let us now explain the date of the manifestation of Bahá'u'lláh from the Bible. The date of Bahá'u'lláh is calculated according to lunar years from the mission and the Hejira of Muhammad; for in the religion of Muhammad the lunar year is in use, as also it is the lunar year which is employed concerning all commands of worship.

In Daniel, chapter 12, verse 6, it is said: "And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by Him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and that when He shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished."[1]
[1 Cf. Dan. 12:6-7.]

As I have already explained the signification of one day, it is not necessary to explain it further; but we will say briefly that each day of the Father counts as a year, and in each year there are twelve months. Thus three years and a half make forty-two months, and forty-two months are twelve hundred and sixty days. The Báb, the precursor of Bahá'u'lláh, appeared in the year 1260 from the Hejira of Muhammad, by the reckoning of Islam.

Afterward, in verse 11, it is said: "And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolation be set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days."[1]
[1 The reference appears in verses 11 and 12.]

The beginning of this lunar reckoning is from the day of the proclamation of the prophethood of Muhammad in the  44  country of Hijaz; and that was three years after His mission, because in the beginning the prophethood of Muhammad was kept secret, and no one knew it save Khadijah and Ibn Nawfal.[1] After three years it was announced. And Bahá'u'lláh, in the year 1290 from the proclamation of the mission of Muhammad, caused His manifestation to be known.[2]
[1 Varaqat-Ibn-Nawfal, Khadijah's cousin.]
[2 The year 1290 from the proclamation of the mission of Muhammad was the year 1280 of the Hejira, or 1863-64 of our era. It was at this epoch (April 1863) that Bahá'u'lláh, on leaving Baghdad for Constantinople, declared to those who surrounded Him that He was the Manifestation announced by the Báb.
It is this declaration which the Bahá'ís celebrate by the Feast of Ridvan, this name being that of the garden at the entrance of the city, where Bahá'u'lláh stayed during twelve days, and where He made the declaration.  45

I do believe the end of the world is coming. One reason I believe this is because the world is becoming dangerously similar to the way it was when Noah was told to build the ark.
