Muslims, Mormons, Jews, Jehovah's Witnesses and many sects hold that view. They are also the same religions who believe in a salvation of works...go the hamsters... ignore the gift of salvation and work that little wheel ...lol

Definitely not Christian and Islam because they both believe that Jesus was the Messiah. You're probably like a Jew but you'd have to decide for yourself, try read up on their beliefs. Jews are still waiting the the Messiah and I am too...I believe that Jesus wasn't the Messiah, I don't know what he was, but because of his existence 2 major religions were formed and those are Christianity and Islam...powerful eh?
I will stick to the Hebrew Bible and not the Christian Bible just cause I don't trust Jesus all that much even though I was brought up as a Christian...
Try look up agnostic too.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agnostic

It's a good question.
There are very very very many monotheistic (this means belief in one god) religions out there and also many polytheistic ones (more than one god), and only one of them believes that the Jesus Christ figure is the messiah (the Christians). There are 3 religions that worship the god of Abraham; the Jewish religion, the Islamic religion and the Christian religion.
You are probably talking about the Jewish Religion.
Oh, a deist is someone who believes in a god, but has no set theistic beliefs around it. Do you believe in the old testament? If so, than you are thinking jewish.

You would be any religion except those that fall under the umbrella of christian.
Jesus is a part of the chrisitan mythology, but not of the jewish, buddhist, hindu, etc mythologies. Strictly speaking, the quran recognizes jesus but as yet anohter prophet and not as a saviour of any type.
Here's an interesting point on this topic. In judaism, jesus is sometimes referred to as a prophet. But in judaism, studying (ie the study of torah and everything surrounding it) on the birthdate of a prophet is considered to elevate that prophet. It's encouraged for most prophets, but no studying is done on christmas.
To a certain extent, life is about searching, about asking questions of the world around you and of yourself. Keep asking your questions, as it't the only way to keep learning.

Well the only way i can see it is this way-If Jesus is God then just believing in GOD has that covered. Being brought up a Catholic you were taught to believe in -GOD The Father-God The Son-God The Holy Spirit. Maybe you won't see it this way but GOD The Father created Adam and Eve and every thing that was made.- GOD The Son came down and died and shed his blood for our sin and conquered death-GOD The Holy Spirit lives in those hearts that believe in GOD. i am not saying that i am right but this is the only way i can see it. The Jewish people are very special to GOD because of their belief. GOD told Moses I Am The Great I AM- i am only a believer myself in all three this way. My thoughts may make no sense to you at all. I believe in GOD. I still haven't figured out why he cares for me since i do not deserve his love-amazing grace i guess.

It probably is the Jewish since they don't believe Jesus is the Messiah and thats why they are still to this day waiting for his arrival.
Just don't forget John 14: 6

According to the Bible, if you reject Jesus as the Messiah, you have rejected God. Consisder the following:
1Jo 2:23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [(but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also].
Jam 2:19 Do you still think it's enough just to believe that there is one God? Well, even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror!

Many people believe as you, as I do. Read "Conversations with God" by Neale Donald Walsch. You will find many of the answers to your spiritual questions there. I don't know what it's called. I refer to religion as OOG...Only One God.
I feel that a person's spiritual beliefs are so personal that we only need to feel "right" within ourselves. Although most of us experience similarities in life, our attitudes of them are what is important in building a relationship with God (no matter what you name your higher power) and no one can duplicate that for you. This is why I became unattached to any religious organization. My God is MINE and I believe that yours belongs solely to YOU.
I wish you the best in your spiritual growth.

Judaism believes in One G-d, but not Jesus being more than just a man who lived and died 2,000 years ago.
Islam believes in One G-d, and Jesus as a prophet who will return at the final days.
