i tried to dye it lighter and it turned orange so i had to go with a ash brown and it came out darker.

your going to have a hard time getting your hair back to being light if you wash it a lot some of the dye will come out, but if i were you i would go to a professional

Its hard getting to a specific colour you want, with black hair! What I do is, choose a really bright colour( brown would be great), it will turn out a shade darker. Then dye the second time, now with the hair colour you want.

i actually dyed my hair black once (blue black really) and am orignally blonde. well after while i wanted to get it back to blonde and trust me you HAVE to go to a professional. do not try to do it yourself anymore than you already have. its going to be a long and most likely expensive process to fix your hair because they ahve to do a color correction and strip the color out of your hair. you will probably have to go in a few times to get your desired look. also you might want to consider cutting a few inches off the ends so that it isnt as fried looking and it will be a little healthier that way. i know from personal and professional experiance taht going to a salon is really your only choice. you should never attempt to box dye your hair it destroys it. dont bleach it or do anything to it, Go To A Salon! it might be expensive but its the only thing you can do at this point without causing your hair to fall out or just became really gross.

OH MY!
Stop now or you are going to turn your hair to mush. DONT try and bleach it, whatever you do.
Your best bet is to go to a pro, and they will try and fix it best they can. This may cost you though.
If you can live with the way it looks, just LEAVE IT! If you cant, too bad, you'll have to wait a few weeks or your hair may break off.

Bleaching is the main route people go. Or you can just let it grow out. Depending on your natural hair colour..
If none of the seem like good ideas consult a proffesional.

go to a hairdresser quick constantly dying your hair will fry it and it'll all fall out or be a frizzy nasty mess

Bleach it i guess...i think you should go to your hair stylist and tell her what you want. she'll work with you to help you get it to how you like.

yes you can get color called very light blond
