To all of you who spent Christmas alone (family doesn't count, I'm one of the only few from WV here and even I don't use that as an excuse) don't worry and don't fret. One of these days your time will come. I was 27 before I met the right one, and I spent many Christmas's before that alone.
Just have a great night tonight, and make up for it on New Year's Eve. Go out with some friends and have a good time. Then, you will realize even if you don't have a significant other at the time, you are really NOT alone.
Merry Christmas and God Bless!

Well I was alone on Christmas, the holidays are tough being single. Family and friends are like where's your boyfriend? But I believe there is someone out there for everyone. We have to go thru a few wrong people that way when we find the right one, we will know how to be grateful. I'm glad you found yours. Merry Christmas and Happy new year

What on earth do you mean "family doesn't count"? My family is 2,000 miles away and I just wish I could be with them at Christmas. I spent it with friends though and that was a blessing. So is not having a significant other considering the one I used to have. No I'm not bitter, just happy actually. Where do people get the idea we need to be in pairs before we can start enjoying life? Life is too short to wait for that.

I spent Christmas Eve with my children and grandchildren. It was a lot of fun, but it wore me out. Christmas day was a relaxiing and rejuventating day for me and I needed that. This is the first time I can remember not being lonely on Christmas Day since the divorce. I feel like this year was a gigantic step forward for me. Hooray!! Finally.

I was with my family, but I didn't feel alone. My bf and I will have our own special belated celebration later. But that was a nice sentiment for those who were lonely during the holiday.

I was alone but then I went to the liquor store and put a bottle of Jack Daniels on my credit card, and suddenly felt warm and fulfilled inside.
