What are you trying to do though? A dll is just compiled code, so you shouldn't need to fiddle with one.

Acutally, DLL files are already converted to low level language, DLL files are the same like EXE or COM files, the difference is the DLL's need an executor to execute them, for examlpe an EXE file is given order to execute a DLL file.

but if you still want to open it, you can do it, you can use PCTOOLS (DOS version) or EditPlus (for Windows) but you will seen unknown characters, to be able to see it, you a reverse tool.

carefull with the dll's. They are an important library linked for executable programs. You might get a blue screen if wrongly edited a working dll's

you cannot open DLLs. There is nothing to read. they are only there to help a program function.
