Being just a (Muslim) teenager myself, and with the knowledge of all of the terrorism and such acts comitted by "us" today, I feel like those "Radical Islamic Enforcers" are ruining it for the rest of us, making the truly innocent and peaceful Muslims look extremely bad and violent. Therefore I encourage people to consider the civilian (non-involved) Muslims in the war who suffer from profiling and criticism for something that we are not directly comitting..but I cannot stop this on a large scale, of course. If only people were educated about the beauty and true peace of Islam rather than looking at it from the global perpective we may actually learn some really interesting things. We are so tuned in and used to hearing about all the bombings and suicide attacks--yes I am admiting they occur and I do not deny such acts--but if only the world could look at the religion not in the violence and hate perspective but take a look behind the scenes and stop learning from the media, news, etc. but instead from the intended view.

It is understandable that people are upset with Muslims. There is alot of confusion, but Hate won't help anyone but the terrorist. They want to divide and conquer.
"Love is the only force
capable of transforming an enemy into a friend"
Martin Luther King Jr. 1929-1968
Learn how a former terrorist's love for his wife set him on a journey that ultimately exposed the lies he was taught and helped the walls of hate within him crumble as love and respect for mankind finally grew in his heart.
The solution to terrorism is in his story. Walid Shoebat

We need to get his message out so other plotting terrorist have the opportunity to know that their is HOPE if they are having a change of heart and need to see that someone else who was consumed by hate is now part of the solution.

I have great respect for Islam and I know that my friends who are also followrs of Islam are good family people with strong ethics and morales, likeso my christian friends.
Unfortunately Mr Curious has confused Education and ignorance by his answer, some educated people might not care about Islam but that is borne out of ignorance which is self perpetuating. Ignorance on both sides of the fence will not allow the wounds to heal.
Education and Knowledge leads to understanding which is what will prevail

I fear Islam just as I fear some parts of Christianity. Both have a radical, murderous fringe, against which that men and women of good will must protect themselves.

i don't know very much about islam, but i think for the most part it is a religion of peace. the same as chistianity is supposed to be. (really, most religions are)
i think that most people see the extremists of any religion and think that is what it is all about.
(i wouldn't mind learning more about it.)

Yes I read.
The Quran is filled with things about violence and killing and it advocates it.
Would you like some quotes or HAVEN'T YOU READ IT YOURSELF.
It's also about "praising" someone married to a 6 year old girl.
