itunes i have loaded it and everytime i try to open it?

itunes i have loaded it and everytime i try to open it gives me a error message that itunes had to shut down due to a problem.
it says it has somthing to do with my ip i have XP

umm... why dont you give us that error message... to further help you

go to your control panel (Start --> Control Panel) and hit "Add/Remove Programs"

Uninstall everything that says iTunes or Quicktime (there are probably two versions of Quicktime) - restart your computer and download iTunes again.
