I had potatoes rubbed on my warts when I was a child and they went away. It was my mom s idea. But she never buried it. Can t hurt to try.

That's an old wives's tale. But supposedly the starch in the potato can help to diminish the wart. You don't need to bury it, though. Just don't eat it afterwards.

I've heard this works, but I've never tried it. It could be the psychological sense that it's going to work that clears up the wart, I don't know. I've heard duct tape applied with salt works (haven't tried that either). I have an herbal book that says taking these herbs help: dandelion, castor bean, celandine, jojoba, agrimony (haven't tried these either).

warts are caused by virus. so i don't know how a potato would help. but there was a big study done at Madigan army hospital and widely reported that the easiest and cheapest way to remove warts is to apply duck tape to wart and leave it on x i week and rip it off.

I have heard it, but I do not believe it will work. There are chemical wart removers available at drugstores, you might try them.
