And why would a 18 year old girl marry a 8 year old boy anyway??He's probably more worried about riding bikes and playing video games, than about a young woman.A boy is naturally still immature at that age.As for the girl, maybe she needs to marry a man b'casue she comes from a poor family, and it is best for her to marry a man who can take GOOD care of her.If she marries an 8 year old, what is he going to do for her well-being?She most likely wont even be attracted to a boy that young.
*note*I said she most likely wont be attracted to a boy that young.I did not say she wont be attracted to a boy 8 years younger than her.She could be 30 & he be 22.

Read about Islam first. Muhammad didn't allow anything - and his first wife was approx 15 years older than him. If you study medicine you will also find that women mature faster then men - so naturally this leaves one thinking....if a woman's body is telling her that she can produce another human being, shouldn't her mind catch up? It's also common knowledge that women got married much younger the further you go back in time.

Because he was told to say so, if it is in the Qu'ran - so you can't question it.
If it's not in the Qu'ran, but part of the "Hadith"/"Traditions", you'd better not be in a Twin Tower when you question it, just the same!
(Sorry, 11/9 - 9/11 people.)
