I called my BF another guy's name on the telephone..and said his name while I was sleeping... Should he be angry about this?

Sure he is going to be angry. But if he is mature enough he will get over it eventually. It happens to all of us, especially if you are with the other person for a long time. I've called my hubby of now, my exs name a few times, but I was with my ex for 18 yrs.What you say in your sleep can not be controlled. Even though it hurts him, he needs to try and get over it.
Are you in love with this other person? Maybe he feels threathened. Try talking to him and let him know it didn't mean anything, it was just a slip of the tongue. He should be able to forgive you for it.

Yes he has a reason to be angry. However the real issue is why you have mentioned another guy's name twice....

This is my opinion, but I don't think he should be ANGRY...these things happen, so long as it was an accident..he is probably upset and worried that you like this other guy better than him! So he is masking his emotion and calling it "anger"...I think you just need to reassure him that he is the only one you love, not whoever this other guy is!

Yes. At some point in your brain/heart you have not stopped thinking about this guy and can not fully commit to the new relationship. So yeah, he should be if he is fully committed to the relationship.

umm yah because thats just messed up it makes him feel like hes on yur mind and not him unfortunately i do that to my bf sometimes to but its usually because i was thinking about him u should at least apologize and tell him that its just because he said something earlier that made u think about him because that usually is the case
