yes love can exist without sex. for example if one of the life partners met with an accident and as a result, can not participate in sex. will not the other partner continue loving her/his life partner?in old age, both husband and wife love each other without having sex.

As there could be sex without love for some persons, for others there could be love without sex. It all depends on the dispositions. Whereas, sex without love would be purely physical (may be mating for reproduction only), love without sex is purely, spiritual. These are the extreme situations and suit animals at one end and the perhaps the godly or saintly on the other.
For normal human beings, the best is the desirable mixture of two - sex & love. That is what we call 'institution of marriage'. And to this add life long commitment, faith, responsibility, dependability and you get a successful life time bond (of love & sex).
So, it is concluded:
a. Sex without love - possible but not desired
b. Love without sex - possible but not recommended
c Love + Sex - BEST

Well Priya, nothing is impossible to begin with. What can stop you from loving another is yourself. That can be a sense of insecurity and lack of confidence, and not only about being honest.
There can be love without sex if you can allow yourself to believe that love can exist without sex. If you can't believe that is true, then your only obstacle is yourself.
Of course don't force yourself to love someone deeply if you really do not feel much for that person yet. It can depend on how much you like that person. He/She can have vices that you will have to accept, like how men love football and how women like chick-flicks. How much of this can you accept, not tolerate, from the person that you want to spend time with?
Love is possible when you can look past imperfections and see what you love and what you love only. This can be something that happens very quickly, or naturally, but for some it is a struggle.
Don't think of love as a subject, but focus on the person that you like very much. When u think of love as a subject, what you are doing is confining yourself to what you have seen on TV or read or heard. Love is not about what you have heard. It is about the feelings between the two of you.
Allow yourself to understand love as you see it. Not as the media shows it. Yes there can be love without sex. If you treat your relationship as something sacred, it WILL become very special and it can exist without sex or in anyway that you want it.

Love without sex is everywhere!!
But to share yourself fully is not possible as human beings build to many sheilds against the world because of customs and practises.
Freud's theorys are based on this and there has been lots of debate to the extent and effect of coping strategies etc.
So I would say that the possibility of someone to totally lay themself bare to another does not happen!

Yeh....for sure, when u meet someone & start admisring her/him ur not the one who is thinking of sex but for a life time or a long tiem relation with the person. Only their presence & sometime being far is matter for u. We call it pure/true Love...a love which may as intimate as love including sex but better than sex+love. After young age love remain same & than sex is not matter.......if u may have sex with her/him but what is more matter to u is LOVE nothing else.

I definitely think you can fall in love with someone and yet never have sex with that person. People will say you haven't "consummated" your love, but hey, it's all psychological anyway.
It's our strong psychological take on mating that distinguishes us from animals. It's why we get married, get divorced, go to "marriage counseling," etc. (I'm not saying animals don't feel jealous, I'm just saying they don't have million dollar weddings, honeymoons, and outrageous lawsuits)
When you fall in love, there's really no erasing that. Sex, well, some people say it's just an act. But what it does to the human psyche -- it's simply insurmountable.

IT is not true that there is no love without sex because love is a romantic and untouchable feeling b/w lovers. IT cant b shied by sex .love is the only word which make 2 souls one . if Ur partner loves u by heart and soul there is no need of sex. love means exchange of feelings not physical contact. So, my advice is only that control Ur self till marriage because before marriage it creates only problems for u and Ur lover

well sex is a part of love and love is a part of sex. love was created to atract a male and a female in order to procreate. so i doubt it, it may exist for some time but it would rapidly fade away

look gurl sex is different and love is different u r getting confused b/w d both sex can take place only when two souls r 1 (mentally) i.e when they r in love...sex without love takes place in only two cases
1)when Ur drunk
2)when u r a ****
and i know or hope..(.sorry 4 being rude but it's 4 Ur good) that Ur none of them.
if u have sex with sum1 who Ur not emotionally involved with then believe me girl d sex is no good either...u won't b able to feel to excitement when ur partner touches u or when u get up in d morning to see ur love lying next to u.
in short sex without love is like throwing ur self esteem our of d window

Love is patient and kind;
Love is not jealous or boastful;
It is not arrogant or rude.
Love does not insist on its own way;
It is not irritable or resentful;
It does not rejoice at wrong,
but rejoices in the right.
Love bears all things,
endures all things.
Love is not demanding...
Love never ends;….
Sex is not end of the world....
