I just started this about 2 weeks ago. No junk food, very little sugar if any, drink lots of water, eat fresh veggies and fruits daily and exercise.

I want to lose the 15 pounds that I gained when my husband got home from Iraq. I am not a big woman but I would just feel great if I could lose some weight. My friend, husband, sister, and me are doing a "biggest loser" competition for 3 months. The person that loses the most % of their own body weight wins a prize. I need to just get outside more, drink less alcohol, and eat more fruits and less junkfood. I could lose weight easily, having the motivation to do it is the most difficult part.

I wasn't going to make one, but I think I will. For the last 5 years I've wanted to quit smoking. In 2006 I promised to not make that resolution & that is the year I quit. So this year, I think I will watch what I eat & just try to make healthier choices. If I make a "plan", I will break it.

I'm not drinking any alcohol until St. Patricks Day. I'm training for a half marathon in March and my goal is to beat my previous time by 20 minutes.
