the two week rule like when u go out on dates and stuff for two weeks jsut to see how the other person acts and stuff before actually making them ur boy/girl friend

wow never knew there was a rule on that one....but I dont think there should be a "rule" if and when it should or could happen should happen in a natural way. Not on some time line that someone made up in middle school or something. When and if it is meant to be you will know it...take your time.

Back in the day that was how it was done. I'm talking a long time ago even before my time. It was common for people to date many people. Sue might have a date with Tim on Friday night and Bob on Saturday night. Then she might be dating two very different guys the next weekend. That is what dating is.

I think rules that apply to dating aren't necessary. You'll know after the first date if you want to see that person a second time. Every person you date is going to be different, so you can't apply the same 2 week rule to everyone. If you like some one just keep dating that person, otherwise move on. You can make some one your girlfriend as early or as late as you wish. :)

Doesn't sound like a bad idea to me, although honestly I'd probably lengthen it out to longer than two weeks! I feel that it's very important to get to know people as friends before actually "dating." Hanging out with groups of friends is a great way to do this.

I have never heard that rule...But if it works for you and you think you get to know someone in two weeks, which is impossible, then go for it...

Honestly you may need to wait longer than that. Some things about the other peroson don't come out after just two weeks.
