Most of my heavy marijuana-user friends don't have girlfriends. At first I thought it was because most girls don't smoke pot and therefore do not associate with those who do. However, a lot do, but most stoner guys seem to be too shy to ask any of them out. When potheads get together, the group tends to be mostly guys and MAYBE one or two girls (who are almost always single).
I have a few theories:
1. too busy getting high to call them.
2. always high, feel awkward talking to sober people
3. socially-awkward without pot
4. inexperienced due to the above hindrances
Anything else to add?
Oh and what would be an appropriate way for a guy to ask a girl out (college-age)?

chicks, if they really wan ta relatioship do not understand being a stoner. It took my wifeforever to understand and sometimes she still doesnt. I have been with her 10 years.

Those are all good theories. Another theory is the fact that when a guy smokes pot he acts like a damn fool and many girls don't like that. Also there is a medical reason. After one smokes pot for a while the only way for them to get an erection is to smoke pot, but after a while even that fails to work. Many pot users are impotent. Not many girl while stay with a guy if he can't get it up. As for an appropriate way to ask out a college girl be yourself. Befriend her, but don't pretend to be someone that your not. Eventually you'll get tired of acting the part and things will crumble from there, but if you're straightforward from the start thenshe'll either like you for who you really are or she won't. If she doesn't then you know that any relationship wouldn't have worked out anyway and you would save yourself some time and pain.

Well because stoners are jacked up people who ruin their lives with drugs. They live by themselves because nobody wants to live with a dumb crack-head who does nothing but smoke crap.
Im only 10 years old and I know this...sad

"The Loser Towny Guy" Not husband material & women today have figured out life is more serious than just getting high, getting horny & getting the munchies. They want better for themselves and there children. With all the disease's going around and so many people dyeing they are more careful and take less chances & make better choices. Years ago things were very loose, no so seroius, time was endless & there was always a good party somewhere.
There are more important things to life.

from expeirence they would rather smoke their pot than be with their girlfriend, and their girlfriends feel jealous of that time and feel like their chooseing that over them. most people dont know how to juggle life normally while being a pot smoker. as for asking out..maybe say hey would u want to catch a movie sometime or something, something casual like that id say.

well, i'd have to agree with you...if a guy is a hardcore stoner...like multiple times daily....they are too busy gettin high to deal with a relationship....the weed is what is important.....and that goes for stoner girls too.....maybe the stoner girls and guys should get together and have a relationship based on common interests(weed lol)..........it worked for my cousin.....until she quit being a stoner and he wouldnt...

I personally would never date anyone who does drugs. I consider them losers. Maybe other women are smart enough to think that way too.

once they get high all they want to do is just sit on their lazy asses and wait for someone to pass the next joint their way and think about what 's quick to eat.
