Tryptophan in turkey does not make you fall asleep. Tryptophan only works when it is not used with anything else. Eating late will probably make it harder for you to fall asleep. Try some hot cocoa or some kind of sleeping aid.

the turkey will make you sleepy, but i would skip the soaking it in gravy part, it'll take its toll later on!!

like earl gray tea? suck my ...
um...it's never helped me. i've always hated that kind of tea. try drinking a cup of milk, heated with a hershey's bar
it's DELISH! and helps me sleep

it should help.....
turkey contains a chemical ..that i can't spell.....that helps one sleep...
plus it is hard to sleep on an empty stomach.....
