Your friend chose her deductible when she got insurance, so you would need to check with her. That is the amount that a person agrees to pay when his/her car is damaged out of his/her own pocket. It could be anywhere from 100-1000 dollars.
The insurance on the vehicle will apply. If you were driving with her permission it will be covered under the collision coverage. Good luck.

Her insurance should be the company to cover damages since it is her veh, and you had permisson to drive it.. Now if the veh is totaled, she may only get fair market value for the car.. As far as a deductible goes that wouldn't exactly apply in this situation unless they minus her ded from the payment they give her.. A ded is what you pay before insurance pays out.. Example if damages are 1,500 dollars, and your ded is 500.. You would have to pay the first 500, and insurance would pay the other 1,000. That is of course if your have comp, and coll... Ded's very from 0 dollars to 1,000... Her insurance may go after yours for some type of reimbursement depending on what was cause of accident, and if alcohol, or drugs were involved.. Good Luck....

Her insurance is primary and will pay for the damages. You should pay her deductible for her if you were at-fault for the accident.
Assuming that there was no other property damage or third party injuries, your insurance doesn't factor into the equation at all.
Your liability insurance is secondary to hers (assuming that it covers you when driving someone else's car, not all do) so it will only pay for third party damages that exceed her liability coverage. It will pay NOTHING for the damage to her car.

Glad to hear everyone is OK, her insurance will cover the damages, since you only have liability, your insurance doest cover. When my brother crashed my car, not his fault, he was OK , my car was totaled, and I ended getting a much better car. Hope you do too.Best wishes and Happy Holidays.

Insurance follows the vehicle NOT the driver-
therefore- her insurance collision coverage will pay for her vehicle. If you are a GOOD friend seeing this was an at fault accident- you will cover her deductible for her which she will owe.

just depends on what state you live in... yes insurance normally follows the vehicle. If the accident was your fault and you have an insurance policy then your insurance can cover it sine you were the cause of the property damage. If you don't have a policy then your friend's insurance will pay for it. They are a lot of variables in every scenario. I am just glad that you are okay.

If it works the same where you are as it does where I am, the insurance is purchased on the CAR. Not the Driver. Ya'll both should be okay so long as everybody lives and is not hurt.
