for about 100 you can get a kicker Comp. its the best in its class. i used to have 2 of them in my truck and i killed 2 Rockford Fosgate P2's. If you want to spend about 150-170 get the Kicker CVRs. They're amazing. i think Crutchfield is having a buy one get one free deal with both of thoes subs. You can also check at onlinecarstereo.com for great deals

Jl audio is top dollar sub but i prefer the alpine type r or x. You can find them on the net for bout 30% cheaper than a local retailer like circuit city or best buy. Also these subs need some good air space to operate effeciently. I have one type r 10" in a 01 gmc sierra extended cab in place of my console with a big box ported and pushin 800 watts rms(recommended 500 rms). Just one hurts my own eardrums when turned up. They also give accurate clean bass, not noise making vibration.

none, all sound good in good enclosure, this is what sounds good to you, flow hear them. human beings ask this f'ing question a lot this is stressful. get out of teh abode an dgo hear to a pair damn structures and notice what u like. i offered a JL sub once I heard it interior the keep, it replaced into purely what i needed and fit in a sealed field. how a lot capacity how a lot room for the particular field u choose (what field) discover teh speaker that works appropriate for that enclosure- sealed vs ported/vented comparing Qms values. understand the specs so u be attentive to what you're procuring.

I like Infinity. I too have a single 10" in a sealed enclosure.

Plenty of "boom-boom" for a full sized extended cab pickup.
