I dont mean to offend anyone but please spare me the JESUS WAS GOD theory because he was a mortal man. He was killed he did not tell them to put him on the cross... SO get over it! he was a man who taught religion (preacher)..

oh and i just thought of something else. BIBLE was written after jesus died so if the people who wrote it did not want to show that JESUS had kids they could just simply erase that part of it. why do you think that christainity is a men powered religion. IF they had JEsus Kid then (the kid) would have been the king of all christain thus setting king Consitine ( guy) aside,. He probably did not want that....

Absolutely, in actual fact for Jesus to be respected as both a teacher and a Pharisee he would have had to have been married as per Jewish tradition, you could NOT hold either postion if you were a bachelor.

It is quite evident that he was the bridegroom at the wedding in Cana where he turned water into wine and not a mere guest. I am quite certain he married Mary Magdelene, one only has to look at the way Paul reacts to her position within the followers and the fact she is able to get so close to Jesus.

She was also the first one to see him after the crixifiction.

There is definately a Bloodline, the templars new it, the Merovingians Kings of France were all claimed decendants and the bloodline still exists.

Funnily enough ALL groups associated with the protection of te bloodline have been persucuted to varying , often unpleasent degrees by the Church of Rome, why do you think that might be? I wonder what they were afriad of?

Mary Magdelene did go to the south of France after the Cruxificiction with a daughter, after that the bloodline becomes a mystery.

For those that will no doubt start throwing the bible verses at you, the bible was made up of books that were accepted by the fledgling church to support their doctrines. Many other books were rejected. The books accepted were done so by voting at the council of Nicea, they also voted on wether jesus was a man who was divine or just divine, divine won by a very narrow margin.

You are right anything that did not support Romae position or struggle for power was expunged, a legitimate bloodline sucseccor to the throne would have cause a major challenge to the early Roman church.

Books such as the Gospel of Judas , Gosple of Philip and gospel of Thomas paint a much different picture of the Man Jesus, and are not so pro-roman.

I have held this belief for years before the Da Vinci Code was even thought of.

I dont believe so. Jesus was only 33 when He died on the cross. True that Jewish men got married at a very early age, but nowhere in the Bible says that He did at any point get married. Jesus was not human; His thoughts and feelings were not human. His purpose on earth was not for Himself. I dont think that Jesus ever got married or had a kid.

Assuming he had children there would probably be nothing unique or special about them. What made him special was his new outlook and the times he was living in. Today we have this obsession with "the children of" as though everything is dynastic, but look around you, where do we see children of famous and talented people that made a name for themselves? Sometimes the kids are able to ride the coattails of their parents' fame, but this rarely lasts for more than a single generation. I've heard of Julian Lennon, but does anyone know if *he* has kids? I don't.

So let's assume, like most men in their 20s Jesus fooled around, maybe knocked someone up. Hech even if he *was* the Son of Gd, the reason he came down in the first place was to be human, along with everything that entailed. So he was human, had kids and was killed. Where they are now? Gd knows...

There was no aw requiring Jewish men to marry, either early or late.
There is no record of Jesus being married, and only some spurious "gospel" written in the 4th century tried to make itself interesting by suggesting that he had been married to Mary Magdalene. HOwever of all the many writings there were about him in the first century, none suggest he was married, and I'm sure his children would have been mentioned somewhere.
Marriage just did not form a part of his mission.
Why do people absolutely want to have him married off all of a sudden? Just because of the Da Vinci novel? Sounds silly to me to make so much of a novel, no matter how well written it might be (and many find that to be debatable as well).
EDIT:
You are quite correct: Sex is not bad. In fact, it is good. But it didn't form part of Jesus' mission.

To be particularly candid, yours is a question none persons can answer with any fact. we'd in all probability by no skill know the whole certainty approximately Jesus or his purported bloodline; so why worry? All we've flying around are sequence of presumptive statements. no one can prepare something particularly.

No Biblical basis for believing that Jesus ever married nor that He, as a man, ever had children. Most Jewish men did marry. NOT ALL Jewish men were expected to marry.

It is true, that Jesus was, figuratively, the "Lamb of God"; but he certainly never had a KID (a young goat)!!!!

Jesus, the eternal God, became Incarnate. He came to reveal the Father. He came to give His life a ransom for many.

Yes, it's called the BODY of CHRIST. Every person who accpets Jesus as their Savior and Lord becomes a part of the family of God, therefore, becomes a brother or sister to Jesus. This family heritage will exist FOREVER! I know your question probably was not refering to this, but I thought this was worth mentioning. By the way, you can't argue what you dont really KNOW and apparently from you detailed information you dont anything about the Bible and its Truth. Otherwise, you wouldnt be ask such a dumb question. Jesus is the Messiah-the Son of the Living GOD. And the only way for the born again to get to Heaven, believe it or not.

Jesus did not have a child. ( As significant as Jesus was even in his own day-- don't you think some secular historian, if not the gospel writers would have recorded it? Look at all the other genealogies which are preserved in Scriptures.

But-- the human blood line which produced Him-- that of Mary and Joseph may still exist, and even that is very interesting to consider.

It could be possible, but I don't think so, according of course to the bible he is the only son of Mary and he devoted his life to teaching the word of God, so I don't believe so, would be pretty great to say that you were related to Jesus, but since he died for everyone of us, and we are all God's children I guess we are all related

Direct blood line from himself? yes its possible if he married Mary Magdalene. He was also a Rabbi and could have preformed the ceremony himself. Also he attended many weddings and other parties his body being physical who knows what he did with a little to much grappe in him.
The real evidence is sketchy but possible.
