I have met a guy that seemed like a decent guy at first. He's in his mid 20's and good looking. We talked for a couple hours and get along pretty well but then he told me he did not want to be rude and this maybe a bit too much info this early on but he wanted to tell me that he has a high sex drive.

I have been pretty selective with who I have been sexual with. I am usually in a relationship that has potential to be long-term. I don't know if he's telling me this because he expects sex pretty quickly if we dated or if he just wants sex but not a relationship or if he wants a lot of sex in a relationship or anyway he can get it. What do you think?

He is letting you know upfront so you can't cry foul later on that he didn't warn you, but don't expect him to be exclusive to you unless you can keep up with his desires. He likely expects sex in the very near future if you want to pursue a relationship with him. This type of guy can be fun for a fling, but don't expect him to be husband material, especially if you want to have kids, because he will always want your universe to revolve around him.

If I tld you theat I had a highsex drive and we had just started dating it would be becaulse i wanted sex. It wouldnt nessacerily mean that i didnt want the relstionship but if that is what it is based on it will fail. I know this from experiance. If it dosent feel right to you and that he may not want anything other than sex drop him like a bad habit.

There doesn't seem to be much to read in to. He did say he didn't want to be rude, and if he really doesn't (want to be rude) then he can respect your wishes if ya'll date and you'll have a quick idea of what he's really after if he pushes you hard. There is a difference between a guy who can admit he likes sex and a guy who's just out to get his. Feel him out for who he is, and in time you'll know if he's out for you because you're you or if he just wants you for what you can give.

Probably he got into trouble before by not saying it. He is just trying to warn you what's going to happen if you guys get serious so it wouldn't be a surprise to you.
Check to see if he is very forthcoming on other issues or not. If he is honest giving you answers for other questions, then you would know he is genuine.

Not necessarily. It could be something that the guy is getting out in the open right-away.

Its obviously a deal-breaker, so the guy is getting it out into the open now instead of later on.
