Yes all they have to do is find a bail bondsman in the state where he is and pay him and then he will get him out all I can say to you is PLEASE be careful because if they do it once they will do it again and I know that from where my daughter was married to a police officer and he kept doing it to her over and over. I ask him why he kept hitting her and he said that she liked it and he got away with it and she can't even get a restraining order against him because he is a police officer. So PLEASE be careful he may come after you and don't go for not any of his sweet talking in fact don't even talk to him let your answering machine pick up and that way you can use that in court.where as if you just taped it you couldn't.Good Luck

I have NEVER heard of a bondsman filing a bail bond for a stranger without getting a signed contract first. In addition, when the bail bondsman you did use tried to bail your friend out, he'd have been told "Oh, he already bailed" I think the first guy is trying it on. Have your friend contact the court and ask who is on the bail bond he's out on. (Even though you paid for it, they won't tell you) Richard

Bail can be arranged so that it can be posted for the benefit of someone even when incarcerated in other states.
