I have various things I would like to do but I am unsure what I should be.
- artist/animator/designer
-- Art, multimedia, etc.
- comics (mainly the japanese manga type)
-- no degrees, just a good portfolio
- computers, website/program design
--various programming, computer science degrees
- Teaching english as a foreign language to students in Japan.
--english as a foreign language and Japanese.

If you are into computers and you enjoy drawing things. Maby you should be looking into graphic design courses. Graphic designing involves drawing as well as an ammount of computer work to create advertisments, web pages, etc.

Try this start out going to college for a general degree by the time you finish your first year you can have lots of your basics done English Math etc.. and while doing that you can think a little more with what you would like to do with your life. I started one degree switched halfway through and finished the second.

Graphic Designing - I guess anything that would have to do with Manga since it's Japanese too.

I guess you have to look at what you want to do and what is marketable in your area..
