If you have children... play with them, laugh and laugh with them. Look at them, they have no stress, why, because they play.
If you have no children, call someone you love, tell them you are having a stressed day and just need someone to talk to. I'll bet they will let you.
And if all else fails, close your eyes, see the goals you are reaching for and know that they are within reach!
Good Luck on relaxing!

Relaxation tapes or Cd's and while you are listening to the music, try slowly breathing in through your nose for 2 seconds (1 one thousand 2 one thousand) and out through your mouth for 4 seconds making sure your abdomen rises not your chest. This will seem awkward at first but is actually a more healthy way to breathe. While lying in bed or a warm comfy, quiet room, close your eyes, and imagine yourself at being in your favorite quiet tranquil place. Stretch each body part starting with your toes hold for a count of 10 then release slowly and totally relax your toes, then go to your feet, ankles, buttox, fingers, arms, shoulders, head, neck and face and jaw. Do one body part at a time. By the time you are done you should feel very relaxed. Hope this helps. Good luck to you.

Prayer and complete submission to the will of the Lord. Also try 30 minutes of cardio at least 3 times per week in the morning on an empty stomach. You should not eat until 1hr. has passed after the exercise. Watch and see!

exercise exercise exercise. But I'm sure you've heard that one before...Your body releases alot of chemicals when its being exercised which actually help to relax your body.....of course when all else fails take a hot steamy bubble bath or whirlpool bath with lavender or chamomile salts...I'm not a big believer in the homeopathic aromatherapy crap but those 2 sents are actually kind of relaxing

I heard that raising the blinds and letting sunlight in helps. I don't know how true it is, but is was suppose to be expert advice. I personally don't like the sun that much.
