If you do what your favorite food and why? Of if you don't why?
I know some of you are sitting there right now (even after a long long day out over the relatives big Ham dinner)and you are eating something by the computer:)

i try not to but at times i end up doing it anyways....i read somewhere that eating late at night reduces your metabolism or something like that so your body digest food slower. and for some strange reason when u eat too late at night you'll always wake up feeling more hungry than ever b4. so i guess when u r really hungry, u'll end up eating more (whatever that u can find for breakfast plus some junk food like candy and stuff). plus the heavy "breakfast" with the food from the night b4, can u imagine the mess in your tummy? lol eeeeuuugggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Weight gain is a result of higher caloric intake (eating) and lower caloric use (bodily function/ exercise). If you eat in the middle of the night and go to sleep you will store calories. For some people eating in the middle of the night doesn't have this effect because they work a nightshift and are out and about. I'll add that taking your weight at different times during the day will often yield different results. Take your weight at the same time for a week and average it. Don't get too discouraged until you try that.

I eat late night, every night. I have to have a bowl of buttered popcorn before I go to bed. It used to be because I watched movies every night, but now I can be on the computer playing a game or something and I still have to have my popcorn. :)

I also wake up famished at about 3 a.m. on most nights. When I do that, I want either string cheese or Pop Tarts.

Food tastes better at night. A chocolate chip cookie is somehow better when the moon is shining. The stars somehow make a cold sub seem to be a appetizer from Rachel Ray.

For me, I love sweets during the evening hours. 8-)

Normally I have little something (usually junk). On one of those morning shows ( I think the Today Show) they said the time of day doesn't matter, if concerned about weight gain, as long as your total calorie in-take isn't excessive to your ideal calorie count, for a day.

It's about 3am, and I am currently ending the existance of a cheesecake with little remorse. I would say it's a cross between Lasagna and a good calzone...no, it's the lasagna, but not by much. mmmm, cheese. Speaking of ham....

No, because it is too late for a late night snack, plus I am not allowed to have food in the room and eating this late at night will lead to weight gain

I try not to because it's so bad to eat late at night. But I could really go for the homemade cookies my sister in law baked.

yup - usually something sweet around 9 or 10am with hot tea or milk. And I also get the crunchy munchies around midnight...sunflower seeds or mixed nuts and yogurt, or some sweet kettle popcorn or cheetos...

What about you?
