No...not if your boyfriend didn't know. He should have researched more, but you should also be grateful that you HAVE a car to begin with.

Try getting a handy man to look under the hood. Is it something that can be purchased from the junk yard? Use this as a building block to your relationship--things are going to break, and together you two can WORK LIKE A TEAM (not blaming each other) to fix it.

It depends...is it a car you've always wanted, and he wants the two of you to spend time fixing it up....or when you told him this did he just not care?
I would talk to him about it and see what his plans are,and why he bought you a car that didn't work in the first place. If he says he didn't know that it was broke, i am going to say he is lying, b/c how can a person not know, unless he knows absolutley nothing about cars and he got ripped off majorly.
TALK TO HIM!!!

Not really if it is a new car, if it is an old car then why did he give you an old car that failed on christmas. Give him benefit of doubt and hope this does not happen again. Make sure you get the problem fixed.

Some cars working or not have special meaning and value. Depending on why he did it and who you and he are together will bring the explanation. Also I must say, You recieved a gift from someone and you want to know whether you should be mad or not???? It's a gift, do you ever want to recieve another? Don't be petty or greedy.
