Which one is better a mac or windows and how come and tell me why?

I've had both windows and macs. . . personally i like macs better! I grew up on windows and could never learn new things about them without being taught etc. . . but with the macs i can pretty much figure everything out by myself . . .
Window:
pros: almost everything is made for windows, ie some programs i really want just aren't made for mac's, or if they are they sometimes take longer to be made
cons: viruses are also made almost entirely for windows not macs, in fact to date there is not one virus made for macs
Macs:
pros: simple straightforward, no viruses, nice design
cons: more people use windows so sometimes there are problems transfering stuff between windows and macs, but microsoft word/powerpoint etc all can run on windows :)

that really depends on what you are trying to do!
if you are into designing stuff, laying out cool looking pictures etc, if you like your computer to look beautiful, you may want a MAC
If you want to play cool games, if you want to use a lot of vague softwares etc, you may find a PC easier to use.
A PC is also cheaper than a MAC.
Its hard to answer this question without knowing some background on you. It really depends on what you need from a computer
