Is God the best answer that man has for us human beings to be here?? This is bullshit i hate the fact that im being told that if you are good your whole life and go to church you will go to heaven and if you dont follow gods good teachings you will go to hell. Who can have the power to say or to even do so? Interesting how time was recorded in jesus's era? The church are cons, liers and just an excuse to keep tradition what it is. Its all bullshit. The only way to get the truth is when you die.

The Truth?

The truth is that everything you have heard in life is true.

Oh? You didn't like that answer?

Try this:

"Everything you have ever read in life is a lie, including this sentence."

It is true that the only way you can get the truth is after life, if there is one.

This question essentially asks if the judeo-christian belief system is true. The answer to that question is vast, and has to be found among the assorted histories and records which have been collected from before the time of the bible all the way up to today. Many of these records require that the reader make a decision about what they mean. It is these collected decisions which will tell you whether you believe in the judeo-christian report.

Instead of answering your question yes or no, I will only assure you that the truth is undeniably recorded and out there, but it must be found not just in the bible, but outside of it as well. Try to distinguish the anger you have against mankind from your experience of creation itself.

A suggested course of study would begin with a comparison between egyptian and babylonian mythology and the jewish mythology. After that, a little study in the early origin of the bible and the Council of Nicea. Some familiarity with the dead sea scrolls might tell you about alternate early christianity. Find some books on the Enlightenment to realize how old divergent opnion on the matter is.

Some additional interesting study would include the prophet Mohammad, Joseph Smith of the Mormons, and critical thinking about what happened in each case and how that relates to the christian story.

For the big finale, take a peek back at Greek thought: aristotle and Plato, and consider how these guy's ideas compare to what you have grown up calling "Christianity".

Time was not just recorded in Jesus' era. Stories are passed down from much earlier. It's just when Jesus came, revealed himself as God as he died and came back to life that Christianity came to be as people chose to follow Jesus' teachings and believed he was truly God. The Bible was not written in one certain time and not compiled all together back then. Man has chosen from many writings that they believe should be included to be read and studied and passed onto future generations. If God did not place man here on earth, where do you think we came from? Also, no one man has the power to tell you you are going to heaven or hell or anywhere else when you die. But if you believe in Jesus, then you believe He is the way, the truth and the light and it's by Him that we go to be with him when we die.

If those who answer cared to get to know God, rather than just accepting His Son, they wouldn't jump to this conclusion. God was so humble... The Eternal and Almighty God, humbled Himself to such an extent to enter time, and this because He loved man(kind). Jesus, God, walked among men and healed non-Jewish soldiers. Pagans? What about the three wise men? Pagans? The woman at the well? Pagan? I have prejudice. I hate Christians presenting their venom like it was the light of the faith. High Protestants (Methodists) and the Catholics (are supposed to) despise this sort of judgment, as it is not their to make. It is know as the mystery of "What is the church?" We do not know its extents...

So leave me out of you assault, thank you. That is why this question is more often seen with the qualifier "Why do "born-again" Christians..." And even then...

If you want truth, check out a standard denomination church. I am not aware of any with the do good/go to hell theology. I rejoice to inform you that you are free of these misconceptions if you wish to be so. The Gospel is a different message called grace. The key is whether or not you wish to kick against the goad you elegantly describe or be free.

No one has the right to tell you if your going to hell or not. But the Bible clearly states the only way there is through Jesus.

(John 14:6) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

the Father is in Heaven

I don't think you've read the book you blaspheme

The oldest story was that of Creation, and of Adam and Eve. Moses wrote the first 5 books of the Old Testament, which is the first half of the Bible. That puts the Bible a couple thousand years before Christ.

I, a Christian, am not going to tell you that "if you are good your whole life and go to church you will go to heaven," because it's not true. The Bible doesn't teach this.
What the Bible does teach is that we need to repent of our sins and accept Christ as our savior to receive the gift of eternal life.
You sound like a bitter person. Let God speak to you through his Spirit and through his word, the Bible.

When you were in school and you had to do book reports, what did you do? If you asked your friends, parents, neighborsin order to avoid reading the book, you probably didn't do very well.

Settle down and read the Bible, from start to finish you will be amazed at how many of your questions will be answered by just that one simple thing.

Give it a try, what have you got to lose?

Do you believe the Earth is flat too?
Try to truly contemplate it.
What was before the big bang? and before that? and before that? and before that? and before that? Time had to start sometime (pun intended) by it's very nature. The only ay it could have is by an outside force.
Also, the signs are everywhere for those who don't lap up the milk of the modern media. If you just take the time to REALLY open your eyes and look around- it's there. HE'S there. You just have to look a little harder and allow yourself to really use your brain.
