If there is it's obviously not real butter. It would probably be some synthetic polyester blended polymer made from corn silk and crushed shells with fake oil. - In other words poison!
Remember margarine "heart health", "low fat", etc. It turns out that margarine was nothing but a slab of nasty heart-clogging, cholesterol-raising, trans fats.
Real butter is good for you! Humans have been eating it for tens of thousands of years. Just look for organic butters from grass fed cows. Their fat is up to 1/4 Omega 3 EFA (essential fatty acids) which our bodies need. (Like the kind in fish oil, but w/o the fish)
They're also full of other healthy fat components like CLA.
Don't fear butter!

Bonjour, mon amie!
The closest and best things I have found is Olivio. It has a wonderful taste, very close to butter and is made from Olive Oil, so the fat content is nil.
They only sell it in certain parts of the country, though. Believe it or not it is made by Lee Iococca, the car guy. It's sooooo delicious. It's sold in the dairy freezer next to the butter spreads. You can cook with it, too.

NO

By law butter has to contain 80% fat.

Low Fat butters still have about 40% fat, the rest being replaced by water, skimmed milk & gelatin.

EDIT:
1) Normal I cant believe it's not butter is still 8% fat (2% saturated), and the fat free version is very high in Sodium
2) Olive oil is NOT fat free, despite what Sleek says, it is just lower in SATURATED FATS.

There is a "butter" like spread that is made. I know Promise makes it and calls it butter. It's 5 calories per serving and no fat. It tastes like that Pam non-stick cooking spray, though. It's an ok alternative if you are really into dieting and don't mind the much different taste.

Maltodextrin is a wonderful thing!!!

it is a butter substitute derived from corn. it's used in all kinds of foods that you might not suspect. You can buy it in a powdered form called butter buds or molly mcbutter in the spice aisle. I can't believe it's not butter, among other brands, also make a spray on butter which is fat freee. BOTH ARE GREAT IF YOU"RE NOT PICKY!!!!

Bonjour. I use "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" spray. It is fat free. It is really more for a hint of butter taste -- not recommended for cooking/baking. But tastes good on toast and steamed vegetables.
