Please don't get me any babble about god created the earth and he walked on water. Actually the translation was wrong when they were translating it from Hebrew to English, walking on water was actually meant that God was walking near the water.

Okay, I see I've made some of you angry. Well, something happened to me that made me believe in God. But, I can not, stand how you people just get all up in arms about belief. It is a person's choice, god gave us free will for a reason. Okay, truthfully, I don't know what to believe in. Though some of you would suffocate me with what I should believe in. But, why do you act so superior over me when I ask a simple question? What happened to me, I keep asking the question why did it happen to me, couldn't god have stopped it?

If you want evidence (not proof) that God exists, you may wish to take a philosophy class because it can be logically argued.

However, I would like to make an observation, you are looking at free will as if it is a good thing, and I think you're giving man too much credit for the ability to choose God when the Bible says exactly the opposite, no one seeks him. And since no one seeks him, you will always be looking for "proof" that is not there. You need faith instead, and since no one seeks God, it must be given by him, not taken as part of a choice. Too many people say that you need to make a decision first, and then you will be given faith. I say that if you are praying to dictate a decision to a God you do not believe in, then you are not praying, you are only talking to yourself.

I believe that you need to write your own translation of the BIBLE. I have never in all of the translations that I have read (a good number) found that Jesus did NOT walk "on the water". I am guessing that you do not believe that if I place all of the disassembled parts of a watch in a bag and repeatedly shake it I will ever get an assembled watch. DO YOU? Do you realize that if the tilt of the Earth is just 3 degrees off that there would be NO LIFE on Earth? Did you know that if the Earth was 10 percent closer or farther away from the sun that no life would exist on Earth? There are too many coincidences to have everything "JUST HAPPEN". GOD muistg exist or everything could never have happened. The BIBLE itself is a miracle in it's making. Jesus answered all of the Old TEstament prophesies. There is a GOD and HE created everything that we have availabl;e for our use. This was NOT written to upset you. Have a great week!

And when Peter walked "near the water", why is it recorded that he started to sink? Was it quicksand? Many very well read biblical scholars are waiting to hear from you.

Unless I am thinking of the wrong text, what do you mean by "translating it from Hebrew to English?

The New Testament was translated from Greek to English.

1. Your existence cannot be from nothing.
2. Your denial of God (no people waste time to deny something non-existent).
3. Your intelligence (you see that other people are supersticious).
4. Your desperation for seeing only dust in your future.
5. Your sense of superiority (you accept no power over your soul)...
Wish you will easily find out more reasonable proofs.

Amazon - if you are into translating, and I respectfully disagree with yours, then you are aware of word meanings.
To prove God would mean the proof would determine God and thus the proof would be greater than God which is an oxymoron. The judge/viewer/accepter of the proof's validity then becomes greater than the proof - ad nauseum.
Proof is what can be replicated in another space/time situation. It is what is presently used for science. Faith is the spectrum used for religion.
I commend for your consideration Pascal's Wager in The Pensees.

No Jesus was walking ON water and be brought one of his disciples out onto the water with him and he walked for a moment before sinking and Jesus had to pull him up.

As for proof, that's intangible. As I did, you'll have to experience your own revelation on your own and decide at that point in time.

I had an explosive chemical in my hands at the time and half of it went off in a loud bang and the rest, sitting in my hand in a clean tube, half spent, didn't.

I don't recomend holding something like dynamite to see if it works for you as well. In my case it was a foolish situation on my part not knowing how to handle it and I'm still here, have hands, no scars, full hearing and I play guitar, bass and piano. I was 14 or 15 at that time.

General sciences and physics says what happened (or more like didn't happen) to me was not supposed to happen. I'm not supposed to be here now or at least not have hands.

May your revelation experience not being as frightening or dangerous.

Proof He doesn't? And sources please on the Hebrew to English translation. Also, if the man has been around for billions of years, and we are sooo advanced, why can't we translate Hebrew into English properly? Sounds like you think you have all the answers already. Good luck with your frustration.

Proof that God doesn't exist. And don't give us any babble about how you have discovered some secret meaning of walking on water, or you have information about translation.

No you can't really respect a proof for that which does not exist
this is the conundrum that some fail to see there is no closure for
those willing to flog the proverbial dead horse . I must thank you for the translation .

Once you bias, and limit, the possible answer set, you probably should just list the "answers" that you'll accept. The "proof" is all around you. You just need to open your heart and your mind to the love and mercy of the one true God, and to salvation thru His Son, Jesus.
