Nope, not once. But Yahoo posted a blog response about this, stating the 'reply to' email address they provided was invalid and they didn't receive your protest. Try again and see if you get any results.
"we’ve just learned that our violation emails are being sent out with a code error in the return email address – making it difficult for Answerers to appeal wrongful deletions. We’ve pushed through a fix that has corrected this, so if you’ve received a wrongful deletion, sent an appeal, and have not heard back from us please resend your appeal as there is a good possibility that we did not receive it."

Yeah, an automated response about three days later that says we look into these things blah blah blah and that's the last you ever hear. You never get your points back. I have become firmly convinced there are no human beings on the other end of this thing. When you report something it goes into one program, when you get reported, it goes into another and when you complain about being reported that goes into another - their version of spam. If anyone has ever gotten any results, I've never seen it posted or heard about it.
Added thought: if its a question I've answered and I know its still on here - I go back and find it and report them! Its the least I can do.

I got reported for "What is the average life expectancy of gay men in Australia?" A perfectly health-related, sociological question, I thought. And being gay myself, I was astounded that 'one of my own' would see my question as abuse. I was reported by someone for "Insulting other Participants".
I rebutted the abuse report, got a response and the report was changed, not dropped. It was changed to "Adult content". What the....?
My account got deleted 3 hours later.
With Yahoo, I've learned that the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing.

Yes, *ONE* time I got a positive response. The reported "abuse" was obviously uncalled for and not supportable.
Several OTHER reported abuses which were also obviously uncalled for and not supportable are under review.
I think that Y!A just doesn't have the people to review all of the reports and that they're overwhelmed by their own creation.
It's the price to pay for playing.

I sent a message to hollow shopper provider, and that i've got been given a "style e mail" in return. you're suited that Yahoo (on their communicate board) reported that they have got been working to get rid of audio commercials, yet they particularly did no longer point out this one. i in my opinion think of it somewhat is an integrity situation on the part of the two Yahoo and hollow. I additionally merchandise to having to debris up my disk with greater blocking off application to get around this integrity situation. I form of choose for to work out how long it takes them - probably till Christmas. i think of there is something to be reported for the placement that they do no longer care. in the event that they did, they could are turning out to be rid of it via now.

Yes!
I have gotten a lot of reports of violations but I'm still here!
Seems the Muslims on this site that have a different viewpoint than most of us, not only can they not blow us up, but they can't repress the truth with their false reporting!

Nope. Never had any of my questions or concerns about violations answered by the Yahoo Team. First, you get a form letter referring you to the T.O.S., then you get another form letter referring you to the T.O.S., then they just ignore your queries.
Now, like most I suspect, I just ignore the form letters they send me.

Yes ma'am. They threatened to remove my account when I questioned them, so I decided to leave well enough alone. I just ignore violation notices, and delete them without even reading them.
